I was welcomed very warmly to this charming house, well located and close to beautiful river beaches. The garden is enchanting — I exercised to the sound of running water with the scent of mint in the air. The rooms and the house are super-comfortable, perfect for rest, and the team is wonderful, always attentive and helpful. The house retains all the charm of its history, carefully preserved in the details. A truly special stay!

An amazing place for a friend’s gathering, good to enjoy the cozy garden areas, for a lunch or just to read a book.
Located in the countryside, very close to the forest, it’s a great place to start a hiking, trail run or bike ride.
The house is big enough for a group of 14 people to relax, enjoy the several rooms and interior areas with privacy.
All the interior has a very creative decoration connecting the house old stories, Portuguese traditional furniture all done with very fine taste and a modern touch, giving you all the comfort! About comfort, yes the beds and linen are very good, and together with silence of the area, makes possible a great night of sleep.
Bottom line, yes I do recommend for a group of friends with kids.

Very beautiful house, preserved history and authenticity. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Slippers, bathrobes, snow-white towels…and what nice bed linen, comfortable beds.

We had a fantastic experience at Terra Verde. The manor house, with 150 years of history, was renovated by the owners with impressive care: room by room, piece by piece, preserving the original design while discreetly adding modern comforts that make the stay even more pleasant.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, with beds that guarantee a perfect night’s sleep. Having the house exclusively for our group was a plus, offering complete privacy and comfort for socializing with friends.

The outdoor space is wonderful, designed for both socializing and individual enjoyment, always accompanied by the relaxing sound of the nearby river.

A special mention goes to the hosts, whose friendliness and helpfulness made the stay even more welcoming and unforgettable.

We spent a weekend with a group of lifetime friends at Terra Verde. The house is absolutely amazing – the decoration preserving the original pieces coupled with high comfort levels makes for an unforgettable experience.

The hosts were also irreproachable on making this weekend and experience not to ever forget.

I was in Terra Verde for a long weekend and was a wonderful experience, not only for the location surrounded by nature, calm silent but for the beauty of the house and the care of every detail….many rooms big spaces, a wonderful garden outside, many places where to spend time and relax. On top of this the service and the attention Rita and Peter the owners put in receiving us was really amazing! The chefs prepared very good food for us lunch and diner and every moment was spent in a very informal and familiar atmosphere, looking forward to come back there next year!

Wat een prachtig verblijf hadden we bij Terra Verde. Dit kasteel is met zoveel zorg gerestaureerd en gedecoreerd. Overal valt wel iets te ontdekken. De kamers zijn ook prachtig en comfortabel, heel netjes, grote bedden, mooi uitzicht…

Switching off from the real world in a breathtaking house; strolling to the sound of a babbling stream through the reed beds, breathing in the scent of roses in the garden, and feeling the dry hay underfoot as you wander the estate’s paths.

Refined flavours at the table, seated comfortably in vast rooms, with old-world furniture in the warm tones of fine woods.

The beautiful bedroom has a dressing room beside it, making for a truly unique stay. Sleeping was a dream — both awake and asleep — on a mattress I’d love to have at home every day!
