THE HOUSE & ITS RESTORATION

Preserving what makes a house a home.

Dating from 1870, Terra Verde is a manor house on the outskirts of the village of Pisão, just 2 km from Côja. Its 60 hectares of gardens, fields and woodland lie between the Serra do Açor and Serra da Estrela.

Restored in 2025, the house retains its character through period furniture, restored woodwork and objects discovered during the renovation. Modern comforts sit alongside these traces of the past.

In its recent chapter, Terra Verde has welcomed friends, families and groups for stays, retreats and shared moments. Its rooms and gardens reflect that spirit of hospitality.
